How fast does my internet have to be for DIRECTV Streaming?

To ensure smooth streaming, DIRECTV recommends the following internet speeds for DIRECTV Streaming option:

• 3 Mbps for standard definition (SD) streaming.
• 8 Mbps for high definition (HD) streaming.
• 25 Mbps for 4K Ultra HD streaming (if supported). A stable and reliable internet connection is essential, so consider using a wired Ethernet connection or a strong Wi-Fi signal to avoid interruptions during playback.

All the above speeds should be considered a minimum for the service, and per single stream. Higher speeds are highly recommended.
