Vonage bills automatically on monthly bases. The date of your sign up will be your date of your monthly billing cycle (date when you get invoiced). Accounts that accrue more than $75 can be charged at any time during the billing cycle. This means you can be charged more than once a month.
There is also an option for an Annual Prepay Plan. With this billing plan, you pay for one year in advance. In this case, the cost for your calling plan is discounted because you are paying for your calling plan, plus some taxes and fees, a year in advance. Other charges that are not included in your annual billing are deducted from your payment method when a minimum of $5.00 is accrued. The Annual Prepay Plan renews automatically each year and you are notified by email 30 days before renewal.
If you are already a customer of Vonage, you may be able to change the billing cycle yourself in your Vonage Account. Or, you can contact their support to make the change.
