Currently, in United States, when you sign up for the Vonage phone service, there is no requirement for a contract. The only time a contract is needed is for the promotional price for the U.S. & Canada Unlimited Globe® Philippines 3000 plan. For this plan, there is an option with and without the contract. To learn more about those plans, see our Vonage Calling Plans page.
