Advanced Messaging and Cloud Backup
With AT&T’s advanced messaging platform, you can send higher quality photos and longer videos alongside texts (up to 10MB). You can also backup and store your messages in the cloud for up to 90 days, sync messages across devices, and send text messages from your tablet, smartwatch, and computer.
Visual Voicemail
AT&T makes sorting through your voice messages easier with a visual voicemail inbox. With visual voicemail, you can browse voicemail in a list. Also, thanks to enhanced voicemail, you can store up to 40 messages in your voicemail.
Wi-Fi Calling
With this feature, you can talk and text over Wi-Fi even with people who don’t have this feature on their phones. Wi-Fi Calling helps you save data when you’re on a shared data plan. It also comes in handy in an indoor location where a strong cellular signal isn’t available.
Wi-Fi calling is free in the Domestic Coverage Area. To access it, go to the Settings of an AT&T Wireless compatible device, including most iPhones and Samsung Galaxy S series.
AT&T NumberSync
With NumberSync you can make a call using your phone number even if you don’t have your phone with you. All you need is a compatible wearable device such as the Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, LG Watch Sport or an Apple or Android tablet. It’s a useful feature when you’re outside running or training, or when you’ve forgotten your phone in your car or at a friend’s.
Live TV
With unlimited plans, you get over 35 channels including CNN, Animal Planet, Lifetime, VH1, and Cartoon Network. You can stream up to 1080p HD video at 4G LTE speeds. Live TV is available through the WatchTV app available on Android and iOS.
AT&T Device Protection
AT&T features a mobile insurance service that protects you against device loss, theft, damage, and malfunctions outside warranty. With a multi-device protection pack, you can extend protection to multiple tablets and laptops. Protection includes same-day screen repair and next-day device replacement.
Entertainment Perks
With premium unlimited plans, you can choose one of seven paid music, movie, or entertainment channels or services, such as HBO, Cinemax, or Pandora.
AT&T Roadside Assistance
An all-in-one roadside assistance service, it includes flat-tire assistance, towing, battery service, fuel delivery, key replacement, and lockout assistance. This service is available for a monthly fee.
AT&T Hot Spots
All AT&T Wireless customers can access the company's hot spots throughout the U.S. The same applies to certain data connect plans. Another highlight is the option to turn your car into a Wi-Fi hotspot on wheels.

AT&T also offers tethering plans. With these, you get to create your own hot spot from different Wi-Fi-enabled devices, including tablets, MP3 players, and smartphones. There are also specialized mobile hot spot devices. They allow you to turn your tablet or laptop into a Wi-Fi hot spot and connect up to 10 other devices.
