Cricket Wireless offers prepaid wireless service with no annual contracts, nationwide 5G access on the AT&T network, and a range of plans for light users, families, and customers who want unlimited data.

The current lineup includes four main monthly phone plans: Sensible™ 10GB, Select Unlimited™, Smart Unlimited™, and Supreme Unlimited. Cricket also offers multi-month plans that let eligible customers pay several months in advance for a lower effective monthly cost.

Unlike traditional postpaid carriers, Cricket includes taxes and provider fees in its advertised monthly service prices. Customers can also qualify for Auto Pay discounts and, on eligible plans, substantial savings when multiple lines are added to the same account.

Cricket’s plan lineup is fairly simple. The main differences are the amount of high-speed data, mobile hotspot allowance, international features, cloud storage, and entertainment extras included with each plan.

Prices shown above reflect the current $5 Auto Pay discount for an eligible single line. The first month is generally charged at the regular rate before the Auto Pay credit begins. Cricket Sensible™ 10GB Plan

The Sensible 10GB plan is Cricket’s main limited-data option. It includes 10GB of high-speed data, unlimited talk and text, and nationwide 5G access on a compatible device.

The regular price is currently $35 per month, or $30 per month with Auto Pay.

After the 10GB high-speed allowance is used, Cricket reduces data speeds to approximately 128 Kbps for the remainder of the billing cycle. Customers may also have the option to purchase additional high-speed data.

Best for: Light to moderate smartphone users who spend much of their time connected to Wi-Fi and do not need mobile hotspot or international features.

Cricket Select Unlimited™

Select Unlimited is Cricket’s lowest-priced unlimited-data plan. It currently costs $40 per month, or $35 per month with Auto Pay for an eligible single line.

The plan includes unlimited data, but Cricket may temporarily slow data speeds when the network is busy. It is designed for customers who want the simplicity of unlimited service without paying for premium extras.

Cricket Smart Unlimited™

Smart Unlimited adds several useful features to the basic unlimited experience. The regular single-line price is currently $50 per month, or $45 per month with Auto Pay.

Like Select Unlimited, Cricket may temporarily slow data if the network becomes congested. The main advantage is the much stronger feature package.

• Unlimited texts from the U.S. to 200+ countries and territories

Smart Unlimited does not currently include HBO Max Basic with Ads, but it gives customers a meaningful jump in hotspot and international functionality compared with Select Unlimited.

Best for: Everyday and heavier users who want unlimited data, hotspot service, Mexico and Canada usage, and broader international texting without paying for Cricket’s most expensive tier.

Cricket Supreme Unlimited

Supreme Unlimited is Cricket’s highest-tier monthly phone plan. It currently costs $60 per month, or $55 per month with Auto Pay.

The biggest advantage is that Cricket describes the plan as including unlimited high-speed data, along with its largest mobile hotspot allowance and several premium features.

How Cricket Auto Pay Pricing Works

Cricket currently offers a $5 monthly Auto Pay credit on eligible phone plans.

For a single line, that reduces the standard monthly prices as follows:

• Sensible 10GB: $35 → $30/mo
• Select Unlimited: $40 → $35/mo
• Smart Unlimited: $50 → $45/mo
• Supreme Unlimited: $60 → $55/mo

The first month is generally charged at the regular price, with the Auto Pay credit beginning on a later service charge after enrollment.

For multi-line accounts, Cricket currently applies only one $5 Auto Pay credit per account, rather than $5 to every line. Multi-line savings provide the larger discount once several lines are added.

Cricket Multi-Line Discounts

Cricket offers discounted pricing for families and households with multiple phone lines. Unlike AT&T’s Unlimited Your Way system, Cricket’s current multi-line discount generally requires all discounted lines to be on the same plan.

The discounts apply to accounts with up to five phone lines.

Supreme Unlimited Multi-Line Pricing

• 1 line: $55/mo with Auto Pay
• 2 lines: $90/mo total
• 3 lines: $110/mo total
• 4 lines: $130/mo total
• 5 lines: $160/mo total

For four lines, that works out to approximately $32.50 per line, making Supreme Unlimited substantially less expensive per person than the single-line price.

Smart Unlimited Multi-Line Pricing

• 1 line: $45/mo with Auto Pay
• 2 lines: $75/mo total
• 3 lines: $95/mo total
• 4 lines: $110/mo total
• 5 lines: $130/mo total

Four Smart Unlimited lines currently work out to about $27.50 per line.

Select Unlimited Multi-Line Pricing

For a four-line household, Select Unlimited currently works out to about $25 per line.

Sensible 10GB Multi-Line Pricing

• 1 line: $30/mo with Auto Pay

• 5 lines: $150/mo total

The Sensible plan receives less aggressive multi-line savings than Cricket’s unlimited tiers, so families should compare its total cost carefully with Select Unlimited.

Cricket Multi-Month Plans

Cricket also offers multi-month unlimited plans for customers who are comfortable paying for several months of service in advance.

These plans are designed primarily for single-line accounts and require full prepayment at activation.

3-Month Unlimited Plan

The standard 3-month option currently costs $120 upfront, which works out to an effective rate of approximately $40 per month.

Cricket may also offer introductory promotions for new customers. A current promotion advertises the first three months for $45 total for qualifying new customers, after which the prevailing multi-month rate applies if another plan is purchased.

12-Month Unlimited Plan

The 12-month option currently costs $300 upfront, which works out to approximately $25 per month when spread across the full year.

This can be one of Cricket’s lowest effective monthly rates for an individual unlimited-data line, but it requires paying for the entire service period in advance.

Multi-month plans are generally online-only, require a single-line account, and are prepaid in full. Payments are not refundable in whole or in part, and customers may not be able to change or cancel the plan until the final portion of the prepaid period.

For customers who use hotspot data frequently, the price difference between Select, Smart, and Supreme can be worthwhile because purchasing hotspot service separately may reduce the savings of choosing a lower-tier plan.

Mexico, Canada & International Features

Cricket’s international benefits vary substantially by plan.

Sensible 10GB does not include Mexico or Canada usage or international texting. Select Unlimited includes calls and texts from the U.S. to Mexico and Canada, but does not include general plan usage while traveling there.

Smart Unlimited and Supreme Unlimited provide the stronger international package, including:

• Unlimited calling and texting between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada
• Eligible plan data use while in Mexico and Canada
• Unlimited texts from the U.S. to 200+ countries and territories

Cricket applies restrictions to Canadian usage, including limits on how much of a customer’s total usage can occur in Canada.

HBO Max & Cloud Storage

Cricket uses premium extras to differentiate the upper two unlimited tiers.

Smart Unlimited currently includes 100GB of cloud storage but does not include HBO Max.

Supreme Unlimited increases cloud storage to 150GB and includes HBO Max Basic with Ads.

These benefits may add value for customers who would otherwise pay separately for entertainment or cloud backup services, but they should not be the only reason to choose a more expensive wireless plan.

Taxes, Fees & Activation Charges

One advantage of Cricket’s prepaid pricing is that government taxes and provider monthly fees are generally included in the advertised service price.

This can make the monthly bill easier to predict compared with providers that advertise a base price and add taxes or administrative fees afterward.

Some one-time charges still apply. Cricket currently lists a $25 activation fee for activations completed in Cricket stores. Online activation and promotional terms may differ.

Phones, accessories, financing costs, insurance, international add-ons, and other optional features are separate from the monthly service price.

Can You Change Cricket Plans?

Cricket lets monthly-plan customers change plans through their online account or the myCricket app.

If your needs change, you can move between Sensible, Select, Smart, and Supreme rather than remaining locked into an annual service contract.

Multi-month plans work differently because the service period is prepaid in advance. Customers using a 3-month or 12-month plan should review the applicable restrictions before purchasing, since plan changes and cancellations are more limited during the prepaid term.

Which Cricket Wireless Plan Should You Choose?

The right Cricket plan depends on how much data you use, whether you need hotspot service, and how important international features are to you.

A household with four Select Unlimited lines, for example, currently pays about $100 per month total, while four Smart Unlimited lines cost about $110 per month. That relatively small difference may make Smart Unlimited attractive for families that value hotspot data, Mexico and Canada usage, and international texting.

There is an important limitation: Cricket’s current multi-line discount generally requires all discounted lines to be on the same plan. Families cannot mix Select, Smart, and Supreme while retaining the same multi-line pricing structure in the way some postpaid carriers allow.

For households with very different usage needs, compare the total cost of placing everyone on one tier against maintaining separate accounts or choosing another provider with more flexible mix-and-match pricing.
