Verizon Services Bundles
Bundle Verizon Services Together
As you already know, bundles are great because you get to mix and match different services and equipment. What’s more, you usually have certain perks or can make savings since you’re purchasing multiple services.
One of the most popular Verizon bundles is actually called Mix & Match on Fios. It includes a few services and lets you pick the packages that fit your needs. But this isn’t the only bundle, so keep on reading for more details.
Mix and Match on Fios
This bundle combines Verizon internet, TV, and certain extras. The offer is diverse and tailored to fit any client regardless of the budget and preferences. Here are the highlights:
Internet
The bundle features three internet options - 100 Mbps, 300 Mbps, and a Gigabit Connection. The basic package is great for streaming content and seamless downloads. And it sets you back $39.99.
If you live in a larger household, 300 Mbps is the way to go for unobstructed downloads, browsing, and binge streaming. The price at the time of writing was $59.99. But if you want a truly seamless experience the Gigabit Connection is there to provide it.
With speeds of up to 940 download and 880 upload, there’s hardly any internet-based content this package can’t handle. The price is $79.99, but you get some special perks. It comes with $100 on your Visa Prepaid Card, the equipment rental is included, and there are bonuses if you combine it with the Verizon mobile.
Important Notes
All the internet plans come with free Disney+ for 12 months, and the service is charged $6.99 per month afterward. Again, the prices and perks have been taken at the time of writing and might be subject to change.
Fios TV Packages
Verizon’s offer of Fios TV packages are even more comprehensive than the internet. So, it’s best to dedicate a section to each one.
Fios TV Test Drive
This option is great if you just want to get a feel for what’s on offer. The package is priced at $50.00 a month and comes with more than 425 channels. This is like a short-term contract and the Test Drive expires after 60 days.
After the expiration, you get to choose one of the other plans based on your viewing preferences.
Your Fios TV
There are more than 125 channels in this package and it’s priced the same as the previous option. But the really cool thing is that you get to choose five of your favorite channels. Then, based on your favorites, Verizon provides recommendations for the package.
More Fios TV
If you’re a TV buff, this package should be right up your alley. It includes more than 300 channels and comes with regional sports channels. The price is $70.00 per month and you also get some bonuses. More Fios TV adds $50 to your Visa Prepaid Card and you get one set box for free.
The Most Fios TV
As suggested by the name, The Most Fios TV is the cream of the crop. The package features 425+ channels and even more perks. There’s the $100 on your Visa Prepaid, one set box, and you also get a basic DVR. The price per month is $90.00.
YouTubeTV
Should you opt for YouTubeTV the first month is free, thereafter you pay $49.99. This package doesn’t require a set box and it comes with an unlimited DVR storage.
The great thing is that you can set it all up on your own in a matter of minutes. A single family is allowed to create up to six accounts and you can run up to three streams at the same time. And yes, YouTube TV has live broadcasts, sports, news, and entertainment.
Mix & Match Extras
You get to choose two extras in this bundle – Home Phone and Verizon Protect Home. The first one is $20.00 and includes spam call blocking, caller ID, etc. Should you need around the clock protection of your devices the Protect Home is there to provide it. This service is priced at $25.00.
Note: Verizon’s website is well laid out which allows you to quickly choose the services and extras you want and get the preview of the final bundle price.
General Tips and Tricks for Choosing Internet and TV Bundles
There are certain things to consider before you make your choice. First, there’s the question of tying yourself to a contract or not. If you sign up, chances are you’ll get some discounts and bonuses.
But then, you might be locked into a contract for two years. Given the quality of the service, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. That being said, it’s usually best to combine the TV, internet, and home phone. However, you should know that the prices are expressed without taxes and other fees.
Needless to say, you need to account for this when crafting your bundle, but the routers and some other networking gear are usually free.
Verizon Wireless Bundles
Unlike the TV and internet bundles, the Verizon Wireless options focus more on the accessories and hardware. You get to choose a variety of cases and chargers for your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
Of course, there are bundles for other smartphones, tablets, and wearables. You just need to type the name of your gadget in the search bar and the official website lists the offer.
With this in mind, it’s hard to single out one or two accessories bundles as the main highlights. But the combinations of a wireless charger and a case for your smartphone or smartwatch really stand out.
Pile Up Your Plans
In the end, it’s worth noting that Verizon might introduce special time-based bundles that offer more than the options described. This usually happens around the holiday season and gives you a chance to get a really good deal.
Speaking of which, there are also perks if you have all your telecommunication services at Verizon. For example, streaming via Fios app doesn’t eat into your data if you use Verizon Wireless.
